Inductive study examines scripture verse by verse and uses the particulars of the scripture as the basis for interpretation and application.
Topical study is choosing a specific topic and finding scriptures that relate to that topic to determine what Scripture says about it.
Word study takes specific words within the scripture passage,
researching its original Greek or Hebrew word by using a Bible concordance, and
using the original meanings to gain more insight into the scripture
Character study is choosing a specific person in the Bible and analyzing all
Scripture verses involving the character in order to gain more insight into the character
that God desires for His children.
The study of TYPES entails analysis of characters, places or objects as foreshadowing of the Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit, God the Father or other prophecies in Scripture.
